Gary Wetherall – Chairman
Gary started his first business in 1985, he opened the first mobile business in 1993 and then co-founded Excalibur in 2000. Gary is responsible for overseeing the company’s Board and long-term financial planning. He is an avid Chelsea supporter having attended the first game in 1969. In his free time he moonlights as taxi-driver for his daughter.

James Phipps – Chief Executive Officer
James heads up the company and looks after our strategic vision and ambitious growth plans. He is often to be found supporting Swindon Town FC and has recently taken to the racing track with Lewis Hamilton as co-driver. He is a devoted father to his two daughters.

Alex Moreton – Managing Director
Alex looks after the Senior Management Team and ensures that the Operations side of the business runs smoothly and efficiently. She likes travelling around remote parts of the world, skiing and scuba diving with her two sons.

Darren Beggan – Head of Sales
With a colourful sales history in financial services, professional services and IT services Darren is responsible for Excalibur’s UK sales and our sales teams. He is a season ticket holder for Swindon Town football club, loves spending time with his family and does a bit of gardening through necessity!

Joanne Ayres – Marketing Director
Joanne has over 15 years international experience in corporate marketing within the B2C and B2B markets and is responsible for driving and positioning Excalibur within the SME marketplace. She has a healthy obsession for shoes, fine wine, the colour black and her family.
