Small BlackBerry® Enterprise Server 5 users

Solution Price = £750.00

Includes:

  • Small BES licence
  • 5 user licenses
  • 1 day on-site install and training
  • 1 Year telephone and email Support.

Line Rental

We are able to include a voice tariff with your BlackBerry® line rental including Sharetime, Small Business or Business Caller Tariff. The line rental will depend on the number of minutes required. The handset prices are based on the Business Caller tariff, which has a total line rental of £37 per month including BlackBerry® email.

Handsets:

The following handsets are subsidised by the connection and are based on the deal above

  • 8100 Pearl - £49.99 + VAT
  • 8300 Curve - £99.99 + VAT
  • 8707 - £149.99 + VAT
  • 8800 - £169.99 + VAT

Other Information

The BlackBerry® Enterprise solution works in the following way



  • Someone sends an email to your email address
  • Email arrives at your desktop PC
  • BlackBerry® compresses, encrypts, and forwards the message
  • Email is forwarded to the handheld via the Internet and wireless network The handheld receives, decrypts, and decompresses the email. Respond to email using the keyboard on the BlackBerry® handheld.

BlackBerry® users can now access their organization’s Microsoft Exchange Global Address List (GAL) and search for their colleagues’ email addresses and other information (BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for Exchange only).

Enhanced WAP Browser Provisioning

In addition to WML and cHTML support, the WAP browser will also support XHTML

Wireless Application Provisioning

BlackBerry® users can go to a URL and download Java (J2ME) applications (.cod files) to their handheld via the Browser. IT Departments can make applications available to users without having the user load applications using their desktop, which simplifies deployment (BlackBerry® Enterprise Server only).

Group Email Addressing

BlackBerry® users can now create local (on handheld only) Group Addresses that allow a user to easily send an email message to a predefined group of contacts.
